The University of Sindh
The University of Sindh is one of the ancient universities in Pakistan. It got established under the Sindh University Act. No. XVII of 1947 that got accepted by the Legislative Assembly of Sindh. The Act was finally revised and remodeled in 1961 and next. The Act of 1972, following which the University is currently functioning, was granted for greater independence and portrayal of teachers.
University Information
The University of Sindh gets managed from its central campus, which is located at Jamshoro. It is a collegiate organization that encompasses four legal colleges. Moreover, it includes 74 undergraduate and several post-graduate colleges in the neighborhood of Hyderabad and subsequently in Sindh.

Eligibility Criteria for Getting Admission to The University of Sindh
- No admittance shall get allotted to an applicant who has successfully passed the pre-requisite exams in Third Division from any authenticated Board or University.
- Any learner of B.A. / BS Part-I Class shall be permitted to take a transfer from the University of Sindh to a campus within three months starting from the closing date of admission, but direct transfer from campus to the University’s main campus is not allowed.
- The candidate would be considered for giving or preventing admission within one week from the announcement of classes. No modification of field shall be allowed later.
- The entrances to several Bachelor and Master quota-oriented and professional courses of education shall be allowed following the rules designated for the purpose.
- The integrity, clearness, and accuracy in admissions will get monitored by higher authorities. It may also get executed by a representative of senior Professors of the University who has been appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, along with Director Admissions as its Secretary.
- A candidate who has successfully passed H.S.C. Examination will also be eligible for getting admission to the 4-year Bachelor or B.A. (Hons) Programme.
- A candidate who has previously completed his/her any interesting course of study from The University of Sindh can get admission again easily.
