Wasif Ali Wasif was born in Khushab, Pakistan. His father was a writer. Wasif Ali Wasif, who later became a Sufi writer, used his pen to bring reform to the society. His early years were spent in Khushab, where he studied and passed his matriculation examination. He later attended Jhang University for his master’s degree, where he studied English literature. He was a sportsman, and was a keen hockey player.
