Surprisingly, she has given her remarks in favour of banning TikTok in Pakistan by saying, “I, myself, wanted a ban on TikTok in Pakistan, but it should not get permanently”. In a telephonic communication from Japan, where currently Jannat is visiting, she added, “I am in Japan and that I have received news from Pakistan about the ban on TikTok.”

However, some people shared substandard videos thereon. At the instant, Mirza reiterated, the ban is essential but SOPs should be taken care of over the content and videos and should be monitored carefully. After needed precautions, the ban should be exalted. “Videos should be allowed to be broadcast after a proper code of conduct,” Jannat said.
