Bano Qudsia born in India at Ferozpur is a great Urdu novelist. She left India to Lahore after the advent of Pakistan in 1947. She Passed her B A from Kinnaird College Lahore. She finished her M.A. degree in Urdu from the Government College Lahore in 1951. She is a very well-known and popular novelist. She wrote several Novels for tv Drama and radio plays. She wrote many well-known novels Raja Gith, Hasil Ghaat, Parwa, Phir Achanak youn hwa, Kuch Aur Nahi, aik din, Saman e wajood, lagan Apni Apni, baaz e Gasht and Shehir e be misaal and so forth. She married with generic novelist Ashfaq Ahmed. She got an award of Sitara-e-Imtiaz and the Hilal-e-Imtiaz through the Government of Pakistan.
