Ayubia National Park
If you want to see how wonderful Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can be then you need to see Ayubia. It is basically an Ayubia national park which is also known by the name of Ayubia. It is located in the Abbottabad district that is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
It is imperative to know that in 1984 it was declared an Ayubia national park. It is a true thing that you would like to know it was named after what person? It was named after Muhammad Ayub Khan who ruled Pakistan from 1958 to 1969. This Park has an elevation of 8000 feet above sea level and it is beautiful in every single sense.

When you will go to see Ayubia then you will know that this beautiful Park is surrounded by seven major villages. There are also famous towns around it and Khanspur and Nathiagali are particularly famous among them.
The park has a very interesting history. It was developed as a resort complex from a combination of 4 Mini resorts. With the passage of time it has gained immense popularity and now it is managed by the wildlife and Park department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is also said that this Park has come into being because the government wanted to conserve the temperate forest. Currently, the park stood at an area of 857 acres and now it is 1685 acres.
Population!
As far as the population of an Ayubia and the surrounding villages are concerned then according to the Census of 1996 almost 18097 people were living here in 2311 households.
Climate!
It is high time if we talk about the climate of this beautiful Park. The climate of this Park can be temperamental. Sometimes in summer, the park is really cool and other times it can be too hot for words. In winter it can be extreme and it is better that you cover yourself with proper warm clothes if you intend to visit it in winter.
Wildlife Ayubia National Park
This Park can be a Marvel when it comes to preservation. Currently, this amazing park hold around 104 species of plants and they are wonderful in every single sense. You may find the beautiful species of plants here ranging from Blue Pine, silver fir, horse chestnut, and oak.
These plants can be really beneficial for medical purposes as well. For this reason, this Park holds a great medical value. There are such plants here that have the capability of treating jaundice, stomach ulcers, and even snake bites.
These species of plants can be can also be beneficial for diabetes and many other diseases.
As far as wildlife is concerned then this national Park has real Golden Eagles. You may also find the very rare vultures, Eurasian sparrow hawk and birds. There are around 231 species of mammals and these also include the flying squirrel and Indian leopard.
Among the reptiles and amphibians stripped grass skink and Himalayan viper can be really amazing.

This Park has been managed by the wildlife department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the 1975 wildlife act. The headquarter of this department is in Dunga Gali that is around 50 km away from Abbottabad
This park has been the main attraction for many years and people from all over the world like coming here to take probably the best selfies of their life. This Park is very famous and it has been the talk of social media for a very long time.
